We are committed to making advanced therapies more affordable and accessible through initiatives aimed at reducing costs, expanding access, and improving distribution channels. Caring Cross has developed CAR-T cell manufacturing methods where the total cost is one-tenth the price of commercial products. In addition, Caring Cross is working with hospitals around the world so that the patient specific CAR-T cells are made where the patients come for care.

This point-of-care manufacturing model significantly reduces the cost to produce CAR-T cells by avoiding the complex logistics and associated high cost of centralized manufacturing. Caring Cross is also transferring its technology to government affiliated organizations who manufacture the products locally for an affordable cost. For example, Caring Cross has partnered with Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz) and the Brazilian Ministry of Health to transfer CAR-T cell and other cellular gene therapy technology so that these products can be made at one- tenth of the cost for the Brazilian public health system.
